YU asked its social media followers to suggest a name for its upcoming Ceasar project smartphone. the five best names (Yuphoria, Yuknight, Yunicorn, Yunity and Youth.) where shortlisted and kept online for voting. The company said it received more than 1 lakh votes and it has named its upcoming Caesar project smartphone as per the fans decision through voting – “Yu Yuphoria.” While a very little is known about the specification of the Yuphoria, the company earlier teased some of its specs which suggested that Yu Yuphoria will be powered by a 64 bit processor coupled with 2GB of RAM and will come with 16 GB internal storage. Cyanogen OS 12 based on Android Lollipop 5.0 will come pre-installed on this handset. Yuphoria is expected to be launched in India by the end of this month and is expected to be priced under Rs. 8,000.oo.
