For those who have Trusted Voice on their Android smartphones, tapping the option under smart lock will take users to the Google app’s settings. A popup warning advises that trusted voice unlocking is less secure than other options, but just a couple taps and you’ll be able to unlock and execute commands on your secured device by simply uttering, “Ok Google.” Android 5.0 Lollipop has many such “Trusted” features like “Trusted Face” mode, which is supposed to recognise your face, “Trusted Devices” which means your Android will always be unlocked while it’s connected to a trusted Bluetooth device, and “Trusted Places” which means your phone is always unlocked when you’re at home or office. If you enable Trusted Voice, then all you will have to do is issue the “Ok Google” command, and you won’t be pestered for a password or PIN on your device. However before enabling the “Trusted Voice” lock feature, kindly remember that it is the feeblest of security provided for your Android smartphone.
