It is seems that a number of Chinese smartphone manufacturers will participate in this launch of Windows 10 by manufacturing Windows phone, which could be only for China and Chinese mobiles. There are news that Microsoft is inviting a select group of Xiaomi Mi 4 power users to help them test Windows 10 and contribute to its future release later this year. Xiaomi Mi 4 is an Android phone and it definitely shows that Windows might have plans to get Xiaomi to manufacture Microsoft based smartphones in future. While speaking to Reuters, Terry Myerson, who runs Microsoft’s operating systems unit said that “non genuine” Windows users will also be given a free access to the upgrades and this extraordinary step from Microsoft has been taken to stop the pirated versions of the Operating System. It seems that Microsoft has planned its huge release of Windows 10 and is releasing its great features, new browsers and new updates regularly so as to capture a huge mass for its success. Also during the Shenzhen conference, Myerson referred to the new features that was announced earlier which included Windows Hello and Passport wherein user will be using Face, finger print and iris for log ins including Microsoft’s plan regarding new Qualcomm DragonBoard 410c. In the conference Chinese hardware makers and service providers ensured that they will provide their customers with special assistance in upgrading to Windows 10. Lenovo has 2500 service centers and retail stores which will help Lenovo customers to upgrade the Windows 10; while Tencent which is a network company ensured that it will add its famous League of Legends game to the Windows app store which will help Microsoft Windows to gain an upper hand in the market. Now, this support would be only for users in China or across the world is still unclear. By the time the Windows 10 is actually launched wonder how many new apps and other great features will be unveiled!
