Apple says it has fixed a number of security vulnerabilities and flaws in iOS 8.4.1. In addition, the update also brings improvements to Apple Music, Apple’s own music streaming system introduced in version 8.4. The chief among the improvements is fixing an issue that might prevent iCloud Music Library from working properly, and ability to hide added music should the service be selected to display offline tracks only. If you are using a jailbroken iPhone, it is suggested that you avoid this update, particularly if you are using the Team TaiG jailbreak. Apple has stated that it has patched many of the loopholes which allowed iPhones to be jailbroken, especially the one by Team TaiG. Therefore if you update your iPhone to the new version, any tweaks or apps you might have had that relied on a jailbroken iOS will stop working as well. Also like we have said above, this isn’t a particularly major update so if you aren’t experiencing any bugs or problems, you can choose not to update it. As of now Team TaiG has not made any comments whether it will be working on a Jailbreak for v8.4.1. With iOS 9 around the corner, chances are they may skip this version and start directly working on jailbreaking iOS 9.
